Evelyn Jesine | Owner & Founder of TBGS
What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a thriving small business. In 2016, Evelyn started her beauty journey in high school, styling friends’ hair and makeup for school dances and special events. Her peers quickly recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue cosmetology professionally.
She went on to complete her 1,600-hour cosmetology program in 2021—a long-awaited milestone that led to her official licensure. In 2025, Evelyn proudly opened her first salon suite, turning years of passion and persistence into a reality.
As an independent hairstylist and small business owner, Evelyn self-funded her business with intention and heart. Every detail of the salon, the experience, and the services was thoughtfully curated with her clients in mind. She creates intentionally styled, beautifully polished hair that elevates everyday women and moms—transforming the familiar into the unexpected. Her goal is for every client to leave thinking, “Wow… this is me? I didn’t know my hair—or I—could look like this.”
